Dave Peterson

Born in Cardiff.

Studied at Newport College of Art and London University. His first job was making sculptures for M.G.M. at Elstree Studios.

A past Chairman of Artists and Designers in Wales; British Artist Blacksmith Association, he has sat on various Arts panels including S.E.W.A.A. and W.A.C. Craft Panel. He acts regularly as an Art and Craft consultant and last year was one of the Selectors for the National Eisteddfod. He is also the Welsh Organiser for several International Festivals and large scale cultural events.

He has lectured and toured in America, Russia, Germany, France, Canada and extensively throughout England and Wales.

Apart from working as a sculptor he writes and presents documentary films for television, programmes for radio and is also an actor.

He lives in Wales with his wife and sons, all of whom are highly regarded sculptors.
